Michael J. Saint James initially established Saint James Marine in Queensland, Australia in 1995, to provide maritime support services for specialized projects in & around the Great Barrier Reef. Since then, he has gone on to undertake a myriad of unique assignments around the world.

A foundation based on the discipline of Naval service first transitioned into involvement in commercial fishing, before moving into live-aboard charter vessel operation & extended remote marine research & maritime archaeological expeditions. This evolved into the offshore support vessel industry, where command and subsequent shore-based management roles brought responsibility for guiding a series of unique projects from initial concept through development, verification and implementation.

Having operated in Asia-Pacific, the Indian sub continent and the Middle East, Saint James Marine has been based in the United States since 2016, after six years senior-level involvement in Europe, guiding the design optimization, delivery, entry into service & record-breaking operation of the world's largest Windfarm Installation Vessels (WIVs).
